This is a replica of the duster that Val Kilmer wore in the movie Tombstone. We have spent hundreds of hours studying photos and discussing the patterns we have created to make this duster as close as possible to the original.
It is important that you follow the information listed below to get the right fit.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE SIZE…. Your CHEST MEASUREMENT is the main thing. This duster is generously sized to accommodate wearing your shirt and jacket as Doc did in Tombstone. If you own one of our Cowboy Cut shirts you will notice that the finished chest size is about the same on the duster.
SIZE SMALL... Your bodies chest measurement is 36″ The finished chest is 49 approx.Your bodies neck measurement is 14 1/2 in
SIZE MEDIUM…Your bodies chest measurement is 40″ The finished chest is 51 1/2 approx. Your bodies neck measurement is 15 1/2″.
SIZE LARGE… Your bodies chest measurement is 44″ The finished chest is 54 3/4 approx. Your bodies neck measurement is 16 1/2″.
SIZE XLARGE..Your bodies chest measurement is 48″ The finished chest is 57 1/2 approx. Your bodies neck measurement is 17 1/2″.
SIZE XXL. Your bodies chest measurement is 52″ The finished chest is 63″ approx. Your bodies neck measurement is 18 1/2″.
SIZE XXXL…: Your bodies chest measurement is 56″ The finished chest is 67″ approx. Your bodies neck measurement is 19 1/2″.
THE CHEST MEASUREMENT is what determines your SIZE AND PRICE. Note that the Actual Neck Size on the duster is more than it is on a shirt of the same size and DOC NEVER WORE THIS DUSTER COLLAR BUTTONED.
NOW WE NEED A FEW MEASUREMENTS TO MAKE A GREAT FIT..these make your duster a custom fit and are included in the price!
1. MEASUREMENT FROM BACK OF NECK TO ANKLE BONE Get someone to help you measure and put this measurement in the empty box on the ordering page.
2. MEASUREMENT FROM THE BACK OF YOUR NECK TO WAIST.
3. MEASUREMENT OF YOUR ARM LENGTH WITH YOUR ARM HANGING STRAIGHT DOWN FROM THE TOP OF WHERE THE SLEEVE ATTACHES TO THE GARMENT DOWN YOUR ARM TO WHERE YOUR WRIST BENDS.
ONLY THE SIZE YOU CHOOSE AFFECTS THE PRICE. These dusters are custom made for each person as you can see.
