El Dorado is the only movie that The Duke wore this shirt in.The item we are offering is John Wayne’s/Cole Thornton’s Red/Orange Shirt from the hit movie El Dorado.This shirt only appeared in this movie but was worn an awful lot throughout the movie. The shirt is done in the style of most of Duke’s shirts, which is a button up shirt with two breast pockets. Now what makes this shirt real special is the color and the fabric. The color is a red/orange and is the closest color I could find to Duke’s. The fabric is 100% cotton, but this fabric is NOT the same fabric that is used on our other JW shirts as this one is SUPER SOFT and has a very nice drap 
I would also like to state here that the pocket design you see here on this shirt is not movie correct (close but not 100%) BUT, the shirts you order will have the correct movie pockets on them

Let me explain the reason this shirt is much more expensive than our normal JW shirts. The reason is because of the fabric, as this fabric cost a LOT more than our normal fabric and this fabric has to be pre washed before being made. The reason the fabric has to be pre washed before getting made is to tighten the thread weave. It shrinks a bit on the first wash so by pre-washing you can be assured that when you wash you shirt on COLD and Fluff DRY without heat..or hang to dry, that the size will stay true. This fabric has a linen sort of look, though it is so wonderfully soft to wear.
This fabric is in very low stock (sorry about this, but it’s the closest fabric I could find that matched Duke’s). Because of this it is a pre-order item and a first come first serve item, which means you could order this shirt and and not get one, but your money will be refunded back to you if you are not able to get a shirt.
